ଏହି ବିଭାଗଟି 2009 ମସିହା ଅଟୁରୁ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେଉଛି ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ମାନ୍ୟ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନର ଏକ ଚାରି ବର୍ଷର B.Tech ପ୍ରୋଗ୍ରାମ ଚାଲିଛି । ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ତାତ୍ତ୍ୱିକ ଭିତିବାହି ସୂତ୍ର ଓ ବ୍ୟବହାରିକ ପ୍ରୟୋଗରେ ଝୋଡ଼ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ବିଭାଗର ଅନେକ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଡ଼ିଗ୍ରିଧାରୀ ଓ ଅନୁଭବୀ । ଏହି ବିଭାଗ ଶିକ୍ଷାର୍ଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ତେଜ ଗତିରେ ବଢ଼ୁଥିବା ଟେକ୍ନୋଲୋଜି ଶିଳ୍ପରେ ଚାକିରିର ଅବସର ପାଇଁ ତିଆରି କରିଥାଏ ।
Established in 2009, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Government College of Engineering Kalahandi offers a four-year B.Tech program. The department is staffed by experienced faculty members and most of them having PhD Degree. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical foundations and practical applications, preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving tech industry.

କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି ସରକାରୀ ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂ କଲେଜ ୨୦୦୯ ମସିହାରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଏକ ଆଇନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଛି । ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମୁଖ୍ୟାଳୟ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଭବାନୀପାଟଣାରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ।
Government College of Engineering, Kalahandi established in the year 2009 by an act of Govt. of Odisha. The institute is located at the District Headquarter of Kalahandi, i.e. Bhawanipatna.
